Lenfest Fellow

In June of 2006, the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research received funding from The Brook J. Lenfest Foundation to support a graduate Research Assistantship for a student from an underrepresented minority with demonstrated financial need who is enrolled in the St. Joseph’s University Master of Science in Biology Program.

LIMR is actively seeking student applicants for this two-year award program. The Lenfest Fellow will have the opportunity to experience hands-on training in LIMR biomedical research laboratories under the guidance of a LIMR scientist, while performing thesis work for their Master’s degree. A stipend and partial tuition remission are included.

Prospective applicants must apply for the Lenfest Fellow position through St. Joseph’s University.

For more information, you may contact Dr. Janet Sawicki, LIMR’s Director of Training Programs, at sawickij@mlhs.org.
