In addition to their clinical liaisons with Lankenau Hospital, LIMR faculty have academic affiliations with various departments in the Jefferson Medical School at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, one of the nation's leading academic medical institutions.
LIMR also has a partnership with nearby St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, offering laboratory training toward reception of the Master's Degree in Biology.

Postdoctoral Training Program
Training is available in the laboratories of faculty members at the Institute. See Research Programs for more information and contact the relevant faculty member.
Medical Resident and Fellow Training
Research rotations for Residents and Fellows at Lankenau Hospital are available in the laboratories of the faculty. Since 2000, 15 residents and fellows have performed laboratory studies at LIMR leading to peer-reviewed journal publications. Graduate Training Programs
Students who have been accepted into the St.
Joseph’s University Master of Science in Biology Program
can apply for LIMR Research Assistantships. These assistantships
pay for tuition expenses to obtain the M.S. degree and the
opportunity to perform one’s thesis work under the direction
of and in the laboratory of a LIMR faculty member.
Students who have been accepted into the Research Track degree
candidacy in the PCOM Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences
can apply for the PCOM/LIMR
Graduate Assistantship Program. MS students will conduct
their thesis research with a mentor from LIMR. For more information

Students who have been accepted into the College of Graduate Studies at Thomas Jefferson University have opportunities to do their thesis work at LIMR. Financial support is available via various funding mechanisms. Interested applicants should contact their prospective mentor at LIMR (see Research Programs).
Summer Undergraduate Internships
LIMR offers funded summer internships for undergraduate students in their freshman, sophomore, or junior years who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine and biomedical research. Get more information here.
