The mission of the Main Line Health Office of Continuing Medical
Education is to advocate and support the continuing professional
development of health care professionals. The purpose of Continuing
Medical Education is to optimize patient care and maintain and improve
physician competency by offering quality learning experiences for
physicians. Programs are designed to meet the life-long learning needs
of the medical staff, in all disciplines and to enhancing Main Line
Health's educational and strategic initiatives.
We hope that this Web site will give you better insight into Main Line
Health's CME program, accreditation requirements set forth by the
Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the
Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the policies and procedures of the
Office of CME regarding the planning and implementation of CME
activities.
