The Lankenau Institute for Medical Research

Postdoctoral training is one of the most important periods of time for a researcher. It is an opportunity to further one’s education and training before beginning their independent career in their own laboratory. Training for postdocs takes place usually over a three to five year period in LIMR’s research laboratories under the supervision and mentorship of our faculty members.
In addition to laboratory training, postdocs attend seminars of all LIMR faculty and outside speakers. They also have access to educational courses and seminars offered at the Annenberg Center for Medical Education and Lankenau Medical Center. LIMR is also equipped with support services for postdocs such as, identification of grant opportunities, help with manuscript and grant preparation and submission, poster preparation and printing, and many others.
