Additional Programs

In conjunction with our core programs in cancer and cardiovascular disease, LIMR researchers also investigate arthritis, infectious disease, kidney failure, neurological disorders, and lung disease, with the goal of improving health and well-being.

At the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research, we have the distinct advantage of being located adjacent to Lankenau Hospital, allowing researchers, nurses, and physicians to interact closely. In particular, this close proximity benefits our basic researchers who gain a more intimate understanding of clinical issues than generally gained at large academic medical centers. This influence helps promote research collaborations with hospital-based clinicians in gastroenterology, nephrology, pulmonology, endocrinology, neurology, obstetrics & gynecology, and nursing.
