CPHR - Mission and Goals

Our Mission

The CPHR strives to improve the public health of Main Line Health’s diverse patient and employee populations through multi-disciplinary research, community-based intervention strategies, and educational programs.

Our Goals

To pursue this mission, the CPHR seeks to produce knowledge through research, inspire learning through praxis, and translate evidence into action to advance the health of all Main Line Health communities. Thus, as a research center dedicated to the public health, we aim to:

  • Identify healthcare inequities in the Main Line Health communities and offer concrete recommendations to make healthcare delivery more equitable for all.
  • Promote awareness and prevention campaigns throughout Main Line Health communities to reduce health inequities and improve the public health.
  • Engage and educate the communities of Main Line Health about the importance of healthy living and offer educational programs to help students – at all levels – develop careers as compassionate healthcare providers.
